Annual Mack Kidd Administrative Law Moot Court Competition
Since 1997, the Section has sponsored the Annual Mack Kidd Administrative Law Moot Court Competition. The competition focuses on administrative law and enjoys active participation from many Texas law schools. Judges for the competition are recruited from the private sector, agency legal staff, and the judiciary.
The competition is on hiatus for 2024, given the transition of administrative law cases from the Third Court Appeals to the new Fifteenth Court of Appeals. However, the competition will return October 24th and 25th, 2025.
